Eindhovense Modelbouw Vereniging (EMV)Our museum is part of the larger Museumpark Wings of Liberation, which will also house the Toy Museum, currently under construction. That museum comprises of three halls, two of which are being set up as an interactive toy museum. In the third hall, volunteers of the Eindhovense Modelbouw Vereniging EMV (a scale model enthusiasts association) are working hard to realize a 200 m2 model railroad complex. The project – Tracks on Wings – is divided into 3 phases, of which phase 1 (the period 1940-1950 with the 'German trail' from Gennip to Boxtel) is being rolled out now. The official opening is planned for early 2012, but the EMV is already participating in many events at the museum grounds, like the Museum Weekend in April and the Remember September activities commemorating the liberation of the Eindhoven region on 18 September 1944.
