) before you bring your gift to the museum. We can assess in advance how your offering fits in our collection and to make further arrangements for the transfer of the gift.
If you consider to donate a weapon (dagger, bayonet, pistol) than it is imperative, even in your own interest, that you contact the museum beforehand. This to prevent problems with the Dutch Arms and Ammunition Laws, for you and the museum. Our staff will put you in contact with our arms administrators and they will contat you to discuss the next steps of your gift to the museum.
A written agreement with you is the final step of the transfer of your gift.
