National Museum Weekend 14 and 15 April, National Museum Weekend and Museum Wings of Liberation was open and had extra activities. Tours were made (for a small fee) with old military vehicles to the landing areas behind the museum. At the museum there were free tours and there was an emergency hospital from 1944. Read on.....

T34 The T34 restauration is progressing well. The only thing left to be done is a test ride in the refurbished T34 at Museum Wings of Liberation. Men remain children, only there toys are more expensive! For more information about our projects see Projecten T- 34....

Wreath-laying ceremony at the Scottish monument in Best The liberation of Best was commemorated on 24 October near the Scottish monument, located in the Koetshuistuin in the centre of the city. The monument was erected in 1994 to commemorate that Best was liberated by the 15th Scottish Division. Read on.....
Remember September On 17 and 18 September 2011 Museum Park Wings of Liberation commemorated the liberation of the South of The Netherlands, 67 years earlier through operation Market Garden. Film shoot at the Wings of Liberation museum On Sunday 19 June, director and crew of the movie 'Strike at Dawn' have been at our museum to shoot some scenes, using our Dakota 'Darlin Dorien' and the C-47 cockpit 'Ship266' as the perfect and ready-made stage set. Classic Cars exhibition From 2 until 5 June you can feast your eyes on a plethora of classic cars at our museum. The event has been organized by Harrie Geeris to celebrate his 50th anniversary in the classic car business. Some 40 cars will be on display in front of the Wings of Liberation museum, most of them Jaguars, Harrie's great passion. Read on.....
Upper primary school pupils of 'OBS de Uilenspiegel' in Boekel experience WWII We (group 6-7-8 B of 'OBS de Uilenspiegel' in Boekel) worked on a project about the Second World War. It was very interesting and made even more special by the Wings of Liberation museum. This project made us feel like we we actually lived at the time of the Second World War! Read on.....
